I am a bilingual professional translator with 30 years experience, dedicated exclusively to the translation of legal, business and insurance texts from English into Spanish and from Spanish into English. My experience includes working as in-house translator for leading law firms in Caracas and in the City of London.

- 1989 - Diploma in Translation, Institute of Linguists (IOL) - London - Language combination: English into Spanish - Subjects: Business and Humanities.
- 1979 - Intérprete Público - English/Spanish both directions, Ministry of Justice, Venezuela. Duly certified and registered as official translator in Venezuela.

As a Qualified Member of the ITI and a Member of the CIOL, I am authorised to certify translations in both the above language combinations for official purposes in the UK.

- wills and probate documents
- criminal records (DBS) check certificates
- divorce decrees and settlements
- academic degree certificates and diplomas
For a quote please simply send me a clear scanned copy of your document attached to an email addressed to: tregoningtranslations@gmail.com and I will send you a quote by return email.
Once you confirm that you wish me to proceed with the translation I will post (first class) the certified translation to you within 48 hours
Please note that there is no such thing as a ‘‘sworn translator’’ or ‘‘official translator’’ in the UK. Official translations must be signed and certified by qualified members of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) or members of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).
The certified translation you will receive shall be attached to a signed certificate bearing the ITI seal, on headed notepaper with my details, ITI and CIOL membership, confirming it is a 'true and accurate translation of the original document'. A copy of the original document you have provided via email will also be attached and every page initialled.
